I'm BACK!!! With pics!
Hey ladies!! I returned back in the US on Friday after 9 days in Russia and Ukraine. We went to Moscow for 4 nights, took an overnight train to Kiev where we met up a friend in Peace Corps and stayed there 3 nights. I am totally exhausted. Our layover from JFK to DC was supposed to be 90 mins but turned in to four hours... then we had to wake up sat and head to Philly for a wedding.
It was a great trip... such a different culture. Biggest difference.. the woman are all PERFECT looking and dress like complete 'hos. FH behaved though and limited his gawking.
Here are some pics from our adventure!
Nic and I in Moscow with our hotel in the background.
Me in my dorky hat in Red Square.
Nic in Red Square... it felt sooo nice to wear sweatshirts and have it be a BIT chilly
Nic inside the Kremlin walls
A bride taking pictures in red square!
Pretty pink limo that dropped off the bride...
Beautiful buildings in front of ominous clouds...
Girl wearing comfortable, practical walking shoes for a days worth of touring around the city...
Beer in Moscow.. YUM
Beautiful church in Kiev
You have to wear a scarf on your head to go inside the churches.. so I scarfed it up.. babushka style!
More beer!
Kiev at night.
Nothing like jetlag, no sleep and heading to Philly the next day for a wedding... hopefully we cleaned up well!
