Ok so even though I cant trust the forecast this early... Ive decided to no longer mope about the rain. Theres nothing i can do and im BETTER than that!!

I'm really glad to hear it!

I worry about brides who let rain ruin their day. I know it *****, I know it would be better without it, but that's so not why you're getting married.

I'm happy that you're seeing through all that and that you're determined to enjoy it.

Seriously, if it rains, it's not a big deal! I swear to you the day will be perfection irregardless of what the weather is doing. My reception was outdoors on the 24th. Yeah, lots of rain! But it was still awesome!

I was a bride that was completely freaking out about the rain beforehand, and now looking back, I WOULDN'T change the rain for anything! It was super romantic!

So, I hope you get sun, but if you don't, rain adds a special cozy, loving, romantic element to any wedding day. I promise.


We walked into our reception announced in the rain. We didn't even care!

i feel the same way. we lucked up...no one else is getting married at our hall this sunday so if it rains, our ceremony will be moved indoors and all walkways are covered anyway. the important thing is that i'm marrying the man of my dreams and starting the rest of my life with him with all our friends and family (who could make it). rain will not ruin it...now, the wrong shade of shoe on a BM...well, that will make it all pointless. so kidding about the shoes.
