I think the problem is that Major League baseball is not doing enough random testing, and the punishments are not severe enough. The penalty for steroid use for baseball players is much more lenient than other professional athletes. I think that's why Congress decided to step in.

Hey, I agree that the MLB is not doing enough about it, but I just think that Congress has bigger, more important things to worry about.

I think all pro sports should have the Olympic testing. That would scare the crap out of all these pro athletes. You get caught your banned for two years. Thats it. Can't do anything about.
