I'm feeling it may be time for a change......need help

Morning Ladies!

So I feel like I need a change, and I want to cut my hair. Right now its super long and blah I want to cut it a little past my shoulders......I think my wedding is far enough away (11/7/09) that this shouldnt be an issue.......right?

(btw i am the MOST indecisive person on the planet)

If you are not sure, try cutting your hair in 2 or three 3 steps over the course of a month or two. so take it up only a few inches at a time!

Maybe put long layers into it, this way if you don't like the layers you can cut them out and it wont really be drastic...you know?

I think your wedding is far enough away for you to cut it. If you don't like the cut it will have grown out way before your wedding. It's better to cut your hair now then just do trims every 3 months just to keep your hair healthy.

Thanks ladies I agree that it would make my hair nice and healthy by the time the wedding comes.

I just told FH that i wanted to cut it and he kinda freaked out a lil and begged me not to LOL

whats with men and their fascination with long hair??? i just dont get it

My hair is about halfway down my back and I was saying how I wanted to get it cut... just a little bit... and FH is like I think you should do it really short, like above your shoulders.

I was like what is wrong with you?? Haha

Esp bc when my hair is that short I look 12.

Why don't you just cut off a little bit and then go from there.

I love change.. I used to cut/color/style my hair differently every 2/3 months.. you have plenty of time...my hairdresser just cut me off (no pun intended* ) three weeks ago, I'm at my chin/ the top of my neck and she wouldn't go any shorter. sigh* the sacrifices we make...

but FH loves the cut! he doesn't mind it short.. well maybe that's because he doesn't have a choice really...

I would go with getting layers put in.....not cutting it....just my opinion though

that is plenty of time to grow it back if you choose to. I say go for it. I always change my hair when I need a change!! GO FOR IT!!

that should be plenty of time but it also depends how long you want your hair for the wedding and how fast your hair grows. i just cut my hair 3 inches and next months i'm going to cut it 3 more inches cause i have enough time til june 2009.
