I'M FREAKINGGGG OUTTT

About my guestlist...It's sooooo much larger than I thought it would ever be! I'm so nervous we won't be able to do this alone!!!! (money wise)

Anyone else feel this way?

I need some advice or words of wisdom. I'm freaking out and FH and I just fought over it

You are not alone!!! Feeling a bit stressed financially as well. Hoping we don't come up short.

I know the feeling. But the both of you need to just calm down and just stick to your guns. Are u inviting everyone with a +1? if so, maybe think about not doing so. Also talk to your fams about cutting their list. Its really the only way. They might bicker with you at first but theyll get over it eventually. At the end of the day ITS YOUR DAY!!!!

Deep breaths!!!

One of our best tricks with the guest list was that when our parents added people that we really didn't know, they are on the B list pending a lot of 'no's' unless our parents want to pay for them.

Also - limit the '+1s' you give out!

I am in the same boat! we have 250 something on our list and we are hoping for 50 no's!

same over here FH and i keep arguing over it i guess just because we r both soo stressed over it and FH is working a 2nd job and im trying to take on extra hours at work!!! its very stressful right now!!! i think it stresses me out more than FH hes so easy going and im like omgomgomgomg we need this amount of money blah blah!!! i cant wait till it is here so i can stop stressing!!!

we have 248 on the list. we are budget for 150-175 tops

right now i am drinking to make it go away

We had the same issue, wanted 125 & ended up with 250+ bcuz my DAD wanted to invited the world (He kept saying the bigger the better )....it got so bad I didnt want to have a wedding...I was really unhappy.
FH & I talked it out & decided to have a Destination Wedding ...that was the best choice for us.

Everything will work out

innitially i didn't want more than 175...our guest list is over 300
there's a lot of ppl on there who are just courtesy invites are who we are 90% sure won't come...but that 10% chance is hanging over me like a s h i t storm

You are not alone. I thought my guest list would be 150, it is at 215.

Go through the list periodically....You will be able to cut some people for one reason or another....thats what I did and I cut about 20pp. Like coworkers I don't like anymore, FH's bosses (prolly wouldn't come anyways), some friends we're not close to anymore, etc.

It will all work out!!!

I'm terrified. We started out thinking we'd invite 200 people and hope for around 170. Well, the guest list is in the area of 250 right now!! I'm crossing my fingers for a lot of 'no's. I don't even think our room can HOLD that many people!!

I've had that moment.

I'm not inviting family members who are single with +1's unless they are in long term relationships. I'm actually only inviting a hand full of people with +1's. That's saving me about 30 people.

Yup - we were shocked at our real guest list too. We never thought we'd make our 185 minimum and now we are hoping we can keep it at just 185!!! Also coping by drinking. haha.

Yep date twin....I am right there with ya!!! We were only supposed to be inviting about 200 and it is now 230 and still growing!

Try not to stress too much...I feel like it will all work itself out or atleast that's what I keep on promising myself!
