SOOOOO

My Lovely Fiancee BOOKED the Room last nit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited to Finally get away at least for ONE Night to a Place where I have NEVER been before!! Well neither has him!!!!!

We are leaving Sunday after Church (10am) and coming Back Tuesday (1:00am) because we are staying for the Fireworks!!!!!

I am soooo excited! This is So cool!!!!!

Look what we got!!

This is the Hotel

I know Two beds lol but it was cheaper than getting king bed lol... it was like $50 Less !!!! so we decided to get TWO beds lol

I am So exciteddd!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!

The Hotel I have right now is Flagship Resort Hotel.. 'The Flagship is located just minutes away from the Showboat and Taj Mahal, and many other exciting casinos'
So yo have to take a shuttle to get there wich is Free!...
That was $300 a night... We got a Ocean view suite...

NOW IS IT WORTHY TO STAY AT THE BROADWALK FOR $100MORE???????????

OR STAY THERE?!!!

As long as you guys have a car, you can drive around in AC and park inside one of the casinos for like $5. One time we stayed 10 minutes from Boardwalk and another time on the Boardwalk, and it didn't really make a big difference.

But I cant drink then =-( I cant get drunk...

So ther are MANY broadwalks?!!!!!!

worth the extra $100 to stay on the boardwalk so you have easier access at all times...IMO i never not stay in a casino

well showboat is near the taj but if u stay on the boardwalk u can walk to all the casinos and hangout and shop...i never not stay in a casino and for 100 more u know ur safier in the casino hotel..thats just me tho

Youre going to have a blast!!! Id say its worth it to pay extra to stay at the boardwalk if youre not driving out there bc its so convinient.

it is better to stay on the boardwalk

it can be a PIA to travel back and forth
by the time you spend money on cabs, youd be a the 100 mark anyway

altho there is a free shuttle, you may want to go directly to a certain place, not just a random drop off spot, I dunno

also, not sure where the hotel is exactly but certain hotels that are off the strip are not in the best areas, it can be dangerous if you are too far away from the actual boardwalk/strip

the boardwalk is one long strip of hotels, stores and the beach

you can stay at harrahs or borgata- they are both off the strip and in good areas but again, you will be spending money on cabs or parking so you might as well just splurge on a boardwalk hotel

the trump plaza and trump taj mahal is on the boardwalk

the tropicana

the trump marina i believe is close to the boardwalk

trump plaza is 187 on orbitz right now btw

Show boat & harrah's are TWO seperate boardwalk???

Borgata and Harrah's are not directly on the Boardwalk..The ones that are on the Boardwalk are places like Caesar's, Tropicana, etc. To go to Borgata and Harrah's you have to drive for a minutes. Borgata is gorgeous, but if you're looking to be on the boardwalk, I wouldn't recommend those places.

We stayed at Caesar's one time which was pretty nice, and is right on the boardwalk and walking distance to the outlets.

My brother stayed at the Flag ship and he liked it, he said the resort is really nice and it's only a short shuttle ride over to the boardwalk. I think the shuttle is like $5 a person so I'd save your money and stay there.

Depending on how much you're paying you might be able to get a similar deal at another hotel that's directly on the boardwalk. I just look a quick look and it looks like Tropicana and Showboat are priced the best...Caesar's seems to be most expensive. And if you guys are planning on drinking and staying out late and stuff, probably best to stay on the boardwalk so you don't deal w/ driving around. There's also a beach right on the boardwalk that you can go to.

yes...they are mostly on the boardwalk....borgota isnt its across the way...too far...you have alot of options...i love ballys and showboat

I've stayed at the Flag Ship many times and it's not horrible dealing with it not being on the boardwalk.

You can drive - or take cabs - but double check the shuttle, i dont think it goes all night.

You might be able to get to the Boardwalk via the shuttle but have to take a cab back - if that is the case then you are saving $$ by getting the free shuttle one way.

For your first time at AC, I would spring for the extra $100 and get a boardwalk room BUUUT if you really cant I think you will still have an awesome time!!!!

Ive been to Tropicana twice. I loved it. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel itself is HUGE. Everything is inside, shops, restaurants, clubs, bars, casino, its great. Highly recommend.

Edit: Also its right on the boardwalk. beach is a few steps away.

Your on the boardwalk, the hotels are nicer, cleaner, friendlier, you can drink and not have to worry about driving, cabbing it, etc..

IMO Flagship not worth $300...
