I had a yard sale at my mom's last week. I made a whopping $9.65. Next time, I am just collecting all my junk as if I am going to sell it, and putting it the garbage. I don't even know if good will would take it.

My mom and sister, however, made $200 EACH. Does that mean they collect more junk than me or that their junk is of a higher caliber?

It totally depends on the clientel that day. Last time I made about $200, but I've made as little as $70 other times. You need big draw items (furniture, electronics, excercise equiptment) and you gotta be prepared to practically give the **** away. I sell everything for like 25 or 50 cents.

Dh and i had a yard sale last year and made $1,000 bucks
