I'm here again, but this time, I REALLY think I am going to be a mommy!

Hi ladies, I hope someone is out there!
I have been lurking around here for awhile. I used to be a very active poster but changed jobs so computer access is less and so is down time!
Anyway, I posted last month b/c I thought I might be pregnant but wasn't. My DH and I went off the pill in Sept but weren't reallt trying......but around Xmas, we slipped once or twice. Fast forward to now......I am 9 days late, have VERY sore and swollen boobs and period like cramps. I finally get the nerve to go to rite aid and get a test(my DH is working) I took it and it came back POSTIVE!!! I'm freaking right now!! You guys are the first people I've kinda told, I can't reach DH!! What do I do???
OH MY GOD! I feel like I could puke!!

Im horrible at secrets too. I wasnt afraid to tell anyone I was close to early because God forbid anything went wrong, I'd want those people to be there for support. But on a happier note, I wanted to share my amazing news!!! Especially with my Mom. (after DH of course)

CONGRATULATIONS! Let us know how you break the news to your DH.

ok, I'm going to take a shower(I haven't done anything today yet! woke up went to drug store, been in shock ever since!!) Take another test and come back online.
Do you think it matters that I bought the cheap HPT? I needed 3 tests and only had a $20 with me!!!

Liz I could have written that myself, word for word! Our plan was to wait to get confirmation from the doctor. I was okay with that for about 3 hours... then I called my mom...

Don't worry about which test to use... the cheap test is fine. Patrick bought me one SO cheap that I had never even heard of it, and it worked fine.

LOL Aw you are so cute! I dont think the cheap one or otherwise matters. I used the Target brand 2 for $6.99 tests. I think some of the more expensive ones are just more sensitive to lower levels of hormones in your urine, meaning that you can take them sooner and get an accurate result. When I was preggo with Luke, I took a test too early and it showed that I was not preggo when I actually was. The error is usually a negative when it's really a positive not a positive when it's a negative.

Well, just took a 2nd test and it was like the BFP showed up even quicker this time!!
I hope my Dr can see me tomorrow!!!

maybe the high will come after I see the Dr. Right now I am just in a state of disbelief!!! I want to go out and buy frames to put my digital picture of my BFP in to tell DH and parents but it's snowing!!!!!!! Plus I kindastill can't believe this!!!
