i'm imagining taking the posed pictures

and i'm soooo bored just thinking about it.

anyone else feel like the traditional 'all of us standing in a row' poses are extremely ... um ... blah?

as of this second, i want to take a small handful of the traditional poses, and then a whole slew of nontraditional ones (like the BP all jumping, or making funny faces)

I have a feeling we wont have too many traditional posed pictures. Half my bridal party cant stand still including FH... (not to mention he HATES posing and being set up for pictures)

the hour at hempstead castle went by so fast
plus the bp wasnt even there the entire hour anyway

back at the hall it went even faster

btw, booze helps

ITA. The time flys by that day. It never felt like, OMG I have been taking pictures since 10AM. While taking our Botanical Gardens pictures DH & I both had splitting headaches & we where both able to deal with th pictures no problem.

it goes really fast. dont worry about it

i took more fun photos when getting ready, cuz you really arent 'on the clock yet' (i.e ., laughing, drinking beer, and champage - from the bottle - classsy i know!)

but once you are taking those formal pics btwn ceremony and reception there isnt alot of time and you want to get in as many pics as you can. so it doesnt seem like a burden. its like 'quick, next group!'

yes, booze is good. LOVED my mango mojitos the whole night!! mmmm

ITA!!! I do want some traditional but I really want lots of artsy photojournalistic pictures with different, sexy, and fun poses, as well as candids.

I noticed when I had to pick the shots for my B-pic album I choose mostly posses that were not traditional dead on frontal shots. I

dont get shiit faced. just have a little something for the nerves. champagne saved me.lol

we did a pre ceremony shoot as well. man did the boys look 'happy' lol

god knows how much they were drinking in the limo on the way to the castle.lol

on the ride back to hall they were drinkin up a storm. lol they needed/deserved it. posed pics can be boring for the bp.

i am happy to report that no one looked shiit faced at the ceremony. the reception is another story

Like some of the other posters said, it's really not so bad. It goes very quickly, but I'd think carefully before foregoing some of the traditional shots with family members. Things were touch and go with my grandmother leading up to the wedding, so it was important for me to get some nice pictures with her.
