im kind of upset...and happy........

so i get a phone call from my FH today and he just finished his bachelors in aerospace engineering..and he keept looking for a job..
it has always been his dream to to work with NASA...
so he tells me that they called him and asked him to come for an interview...about a job for HIM to be a mangaer.....but only its in Alabama.......
im soooo happy for him and i hope he gets it...and at the same time..i hate alabama...i dont want to be selfish..i just hate one of those states....

i dunno....

Well these are the unexpected things that can come up over n over throughout marriage! This is something very big to think about! Would you be able to pick up and go very easily to go down there? And alabama might not be all that bad... sure, youd be away from fam, that stinks, but just imagine the size of the house you can get for half the price of an LI house!

I KNOW..I WOULD DO IT...BUT I DONT WANT TO BE TOO FAR FROM OUR FAMILIES...ITS TOO MUCH...

but i will do it if i have to!

i can find new fds..and i can deff...keep my old ones..hehe...but its going to be hard for my mom.....
well right now..we have to wait for the email that will explain everything....to him..

that is exactly what im going to do..because i sent his resume while he didnt know in a first place..hahha...i just remembered and he asked me if i did...bcoz he was goin to send it to them and he never did...and a year ago i sent behind his bavk..i already forgat about that!

wow...that is a tough decision. Congratulations to your FH though! that is fantastic news! As everyone said, it is a tough decision. The way I look at it is that with this marriage, you and FH become a unit. That doesnt mean that family isnt important of course, but you two come first. Like you said, your family and true friends will be there to support you and your FH and they will be here no matter what. Hang in there sweetheart! Best of luck!

I guess if you know that you would definitely move and support him, there's really two big questions to consider:

1. How long is the position for and could he transfer eventually?
2. Where is there a town/city close by that you could move that wouldn't drive you totally insane, but still be a reasonable commute for him.

There's always a silver lining to every situation. Hopefully in the event that he does get the job, you will be able to find a way to work it out.

Wow that's hard. That sounds like an amazing opportunity, but in not that amazing of a location. You just have to decide what's best for both of you. Alabama might not be as bad as it sounds...

PS.. My daddy is an aerospace engineer and has his own company on LI so if you want to throw that in the mix I can talk to him!
