I'M MARRIED!!!!
Hey Girlies,
I had an amazing day yesterday ... we had great weather and pretty much everything went perfectly!
I did forget to bring my vows with me to the chuppah (the joys of not having pockets) but I managed to pretty much wing it and say everything i wanted to.
Oh, and DH (D freakin' H...!!!) surprised me by getting a limo for us ... we were taken out east to this motel right on the water. He had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us there, and rose petals leading from the door to the bed. It was really amazing (except the motel itself was kinda icky ... but he didn't know that so it's not his fault) ... oh, and he also bought me a pair of earrings and a necklace! So sweet he is![]()
One note for everyone - make sure you drink enough water at your wedding ... DH was a bit dehydrated last night and was feeling poopy
Mini-review:
WCC: A++ they went above and beyond to give me everything i wanted and then some. guests were raving about the food and atmosphere
Variety Music DJ: A++ they were the best! The zap shots photographer gave me a CD with 400 pictures from the wedding, the DJ and MC were great and everyone was dancing all night long
As You Wish Photography A++ they brought in a third photographer for me, and really did whatever i wished. They were also great to work with and were easy-going and didn't stress me out
Pedestals (florist) A- i loved the way everything looked but i have two small gripes. First of all, my bouquet (which was a cascading one) kept losing flowers and i had to stick them back in (luckily, this happened when nobody else was around, for the most part. Second gripe is that the day before the wedding, they told me i could go in to see the personals (bouquets & boutenniers). They told me they'd be done at 3pm. I got there at 3:30 and only the BM bouquets were done. I had taken the 1/2 hour drive over there for nothing. I was a bit annoyed but no big deal.
Mya of Cosmetic Artistry (Hair) A++ i loved my hair and i loved her too!
Sandra Baldini (makeup) A++ everybody loved their makeup (myself included of course) and she was just great in every way.
Wedding Wings 4 You (Dove Release) A he was extremely nice and was also the most affrodable dove release vendor we found (by a huge margin!). However, he did arrive a little late which cause a bit of unnecessary stress. Still, DH and I have no regrets on booking with them!
Francesco's Bakery A++ the cake was delicious and DH and I loved the way it looked!
