I'm Mrs. Espaillat
Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to give a quick recap of the best day of my life.
It truly was amazing. The weather was not on my side but I wasn't going to let the weather interfere with my day. I planned to long and hard to have it stop me from enjoying myself. We didn't end up taking pics at Planting Fields but we were able to take some shots at Flushing Meadow Park. Since we had such a huge cap between ceremony and RH, we needed to kill some time and we thought how cool would it be if we stopped at McDonalds. Well ladies let me tell you that we did go to McDonalds with gown and all. It was hilarious. Never in my life did I think that I would step in McDonalds on my wedding day especially with a wedding gown. Of course we were center of attention.
All my vendors were beyond amazing.
My DOC, Christine from Piece of Cake was amazing. Can not imagine my big day without her.
Jen the Hair Genie, I love her. She is amazing and I loved my hair.
Sandra Baldini did a fantasic job with makeup
Bu0rtons, ladies who are booked with them, you have nothing to worry about, All my flowers were amazing and beautiful. I went around to see if I can take one home but everyone beat me to it.
Camelot Limos..what can I say about Joe that you haven't heard before. I love him...on time, responsible and all of our drivers were so easy going.
Cigar Roller, La Rosa Cubano...what a huge success. Everyone enjoyed it. My husband (feels weird writing that) doesn't smoke and hates the smell but this he loved and I even saw him smoke one.
but my favorite vendor of the night was my video crew. Myther Ganibe was out of this world. The guy had me running in heals. I felt so at ease with him. I think that if he would have told me, jump from the window, I would have done it. My husband also loved him, and he was against having video. I loved that he was able to enjoy himself, I even took him to the dance floor for a quick lesson of Bachata (Dominican music).
Everyones favorite vendor was our DJ. He is a family friend that works for a DJ company. Nobody wanted to sit. I don't even think people sat down to eat their food. He had people that normally don't dance on the dance floor.
My phone has not stopped ringing today with all the lovely comments. I've had people tell me that they have never been to a wedding or party where you saw everyone having the time of their lives. I sure did. My husband was crying at the alter and he never cries. I did things that I would have never thought I would do. The best part was marrying my best friend.
I can sit here and write more but it's about to be 1 in the morning and I have a plane to catch in few hours.
