I'M MRS V.......with Pictures (Edited to add vendor)
WE ARE MARRIED!!!
We had an absolutely awesomely amazing wedding day...from the weather to the Swan Club to my bridal party to my DH. Unbelievably surreal.
Very quick review:
SWAN CLUB - Absolutely AMAZING. Joseph was my Matre D...he went above and beyond. I was in LOVE with the way my room looked set up. My bridal attendant was Lorraine...LOVED her...she was awesome!!!!! The food was PHENOMENAL!!!!!
We got to use all 3 bridal suites b/c we were the only wedding. We were able to take pictures anywhere we wanted b/c we were the only wedding. EVERY single guest told me how beautiful the grounds were and the room.
Flower Michele - My flowers looked absolutely beautiful but I will admit the CP's weren't exactly what I expected or what my sample was.
FM Ent. - Mike was the MC, Paul was the DJ. They were awesome. Fit everything in. Tons of people were dancing. Only song they missed was the chicken dance which was fine with me but my little 4 1/2 yr old twin flowergirls noticed. They said it was okay though b/c they danced to other songs.![]()
RYAN - Above and Beyond Events....I cannot say enough GREAT things about Ryan...I only decided to Hire Ryan about a week before the wedding b/c I started to worry that I wasn't going to be able to enjoy my day b/c everyone would be asking me questions. Ryan has an awesome personality and is very calming to be around. I screwed up bigtime and forgot 2 Vendor's payments, she was one of them. I felt horrible. Ryan was awesome. Some family came up with the money and Ryan handled everything perfectly. There were a couple of things that weren't done correctly at first, like my custom aisle runner being upside down, and Ryan took care of everything, and I didn't know about any of it until today when DH and family told me about it. I was SOOOOOOOO happy I hired her. My bridal party agreed that anything they needed, she had. Anyone who is on the fence about a DOC should absolutely get one. Worth every single penny.
Linen Creations - I had ivory chair covers with wine satin bows..Normally they tie them at the top of the chair...I wanted them tied in the middle, they did a perfect job and everything looked AWESOME.
Franklin Square Photographers - Greg was my Photographer and had quite a few assistants with him. I believe they took all the pictures on my must take list and there were quite a few. Greg makes sure that everything runs ontime and he went out of his way (climbing over fences) to get the perfect shots. I'm sure I'm going to love my proofs.
Christine - Head Rush - My hair wasn't like my trial b/c my hair was Much longer but I thought Christine did a great job with my hair.
Stacey - Fresh Face Forward - it was only originally supposed to be me getting makeup done but then my BM was added, and my sister and Mom. Stacey did a great job and got everyone done quickly.
****Edited***** I almost forgot about JOHN from Ballroom Dance Long Island....He is amazing. What a fantastic personality and doesn't even get annoyed with people like me who have no coordination and zero rythm. Our first dance was almost perfect except I kept stepping on my bustle everytime I backed up.

Well I really need to go pack, we are leaving at 6am for Mexico and I haven't packed a thing yet.
I don't have many pictures yet..None of the ceremony. We wrote our own vows and we both cried, and so did most of our guests.
OH and my moment of when I finally realized that I was getting married was when Michael (Banquet Mgr) said 'ok, it's time'....I got butterflies in my stomach. I started to cry walking down the aisle b/c I saw of our family and friends sitting there for us and DH was standing upfront and it was just so emotional.
