I'm New!

I just got engaged last week!

Since I hear that venues fill up their dates very early on, I want to start looking right away. We're considering April, May or June of 2005 on a Saturday night for approximately 150 people.

Location would be anywhere in Nassau or Suffolk Counties. Price-wise, I'm flexible, but ideally we would like to stay below $150 p/p. (Is that doable?).

Do you have ideas where I should start? Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

What type of decor do you want? one wedding per day or its ok if its more? what do you picture for yourself??

my advice would be to go out and buy the wedding sites and services magazine... you can find it in the bridal section of barnes and nobles. or go to the website. that helped us alot!!

Check this out. Beautiful place (pics on line are awful though so you need to actually go there) Food is amazing and they have a great all inclusive package.
