i'm not usually a person who gets TOO personal but...**UPDATE WITH FANTASIC NEWS!**

I could really use some good thoughts and prayers for my FH. Without going into too much detail, he may be in danger of losing his job. This would be devestating for not only the wedding planning but also for him in many respects.

We find out what is going on on Saturday. It has been an uneasy few days with little sleep.



************UPDATE!!!!!!!!************

FH is fine!!!!! The news that we were looking for took longer than we thought (we found out yesterday), but everything at his job worked out, he's at work as we speak!!!

On top of that....my raise and promotion came through yesterday too and it was retroactive!!!!!


Talk about going from an ultra low to an ultra high. All of that praying paid off! Thank you ladies SOOOOO much for all your positive vibes and prayers for my FH!

Just want to let you know, my fiancee just got laid off last week. Of course, we were devastated at first, but he was so miserable there for the last 2 years, we keep reminding ourselves that something better has to happen.

I'm not saying it isn't devastating - it is - but as long as we have each other, we are safe and healthy, and we have a strong relationship, we know we will get thru this. I mean - talk about for better or worse, huh? The fact that this is happening when we should be in la-la land now just reminds us that we are still very much in reality, and nothing can faze us once we are married. My fiancee has 2 kids, so there are other issues in place that makes this all very realistic for me, who has no children of my own!

Good luck, but remember - even if he does lose his job, at least you have each other - he'll need your support and trength, that's for sure!!!

i can't say I can relate, but my FH is stuck in a really miserable job that pays nothing, and no matter what he does, he can't find another one. Everyday, I'm afraid he'll walk out of there. But it's not like the money helps us anyway. I don't know what your FH's circumstances are, but try to look at this from the positive side, if something does happen God forbid, he might just have a dream job fall into his lap at the same time. These things happen. Just think positive (I know it's hard) and be his biggest supporter. And things will work out for you. Good luck!
