honestly ...I dont care if people where jeans...not that I am knocking the people who do mind ...but IMO as long as you are there showing your love and sharing our day ....I could give a craap what you wear ........
I didn't even notice people did this. As long as they don't come naked, they can wear what they want

I hear ya! I got a cute ivory dress with a gold satin piece under the boobs and gold straps and my friends loved it, but I upset a bride. It wasn't a wedding gown, it didn't look like a gown... so i didn't think anything of it. I actually had 3 other girls borrow it for other summer weddings...
yeah i know i want to wear it agan. and i see that dress in your pics it is a gorgeous dress....i dont get why brides get so worked up about it. first off why would i want to be upset on my wedding day. yes if a vendor doesnt show up i can be upset but when a guest wears ivory, off white or gets a little too drunk and requests the cha cha slide or macarana...am i going to go into b*tch mode. NO!!! geez I am supposed to be HAPPY on OUR day not sad and crazy
I don't think it ruined her day. We talked about it after the fact, but i didn't know it upset her until she said something.
oh thats good. at least she didnt get so worked up about it.
plus if she did i am sure you could have kicked her bootyaaaaaaaa![]()

I do agree, except to the fact of black for the mothers. Some traditions in our family state black dresses for the moms is that there mourning their child instead of being happy for them.
I do have to say that in no way do I actually care that my FMIL is wearing black because she felt comfortable in it, and THATs all that matters to me. And yes i still love you yelley because you make me laugh when I get a chance to come on![]()
If it's tradition or superstition and all parties agree, then I understand, but to come out and tell your mom, 'you can't wear red, b/c it will take away from me' is just ridiculous.

yeah that would defiantly be outrageous! My mom should look amazing, its her day too!!! as for everyone else, its a day like no other, except celebrating someones love, who the heck cares the colors of peoples dresses!
Thats like saying guys you can not wear a tan suit because it is wayy to close to white, but umm hes a guy and looks nothing like a bride![]()
