But I have to say it.

This is NOT directed to ANYONE on here, it's just a general observation. I am so sick of hearing, 'I don't want anyone to wear black, red, white, etc, to my wedding'. Yes, it is your special day, but if you are more concerned with what EVERYONE else plans to wear or is wearing to your wedding, something can't be right. I don't give an eff who wears what. I'm the bride, everyone there KNOWS I'm the bride, so why does it matter. I understand that WHITE is a bit more sensitive, but I mean, c'mon!!!!

Sorry, begin ripping new hole below.

I should also add that this is JMO and this is not a thread to creat drama, start a fight or hate yelley. It's just a thought.

I compelety agree. If my guests don't realize that that I am the bride -- then they shouldn't be there hahahaha! I wan't peopl to be comfortable and happy -- what they wear is not my problem.

However I would really prefer if my Jr.Bridesmaid (who is my 10 year cousin) did not have the rubberbands on her braces match the colors of the wedding. clear will surfice -- I told my mom that when it comes time this her job to inform my aunt of this. I am such a b*tch.

I wouldnt even think to think of that!! Im a very laid back person anyway. I have absolutely no issues with what color people wear at all amongst other things as well.

BUT it's off white with a black satin strap around the busum...lol so I didn't think it even looked like a wedding dress and it's short. So apparently my friend and i have different views of what a wedding dress look like.

I hear ya! I got a cute ivory dress with a gold satin piece under the boobs and gold straps and my friends loved it, but I upset a bride. It wasn't a wedding gown, it didn't look like a gown... so i didn't think anything of it. I actually had 3 other girls borrow it for other summer weddings...

yeah i know i want to wear it agan. and i see that dress in your pics it is a gorgeous dress....i dont get why brides get so worked up about it. first off why would i want to be upset on my wedding day. yes if a vendor doesnt show up i can be upset but when a guest wears ivory, off white or gets a little too drunk and requests the cha cha slide or macarana...am i going to go into b*tch mode. NO!!! geez I am supposed to be HAPPY on OUR day not sad and crazy

I do agree, except to the fact of black for the mothers. Some traditions in our family state black dresses for the moms is that there mourning their child instead of being happy for them.

I do have to say that in no way do I actually care that my FMIL is wearing black because she felt comfortable in it, and THATs all that matters to me. And yes i still love you yelley because you make me laugh when I get a chance to come on

If it's tradition or superstition and all parties agree, then I understand, but to come out and tell your mom, 'you can't wear red, b/c it will take away from me' is just ridiculous.
