i'm quitting smoking in 2 days!

november 5th is my quit date...wish me luck! i quit about 2 years ago for 9 months and went back...so hopefully this is it...im gonna smoke about 100 cigarettes in the next 2 days lol...ahhh just wanted to share

haha well maybe not 100 cigs but about 2 more packs...i'm actually using buproprian...it worked for me the last time...i love smoking so much though but i know i gotta stop..i wish they weren't bad for you!

I suggest WEENING yourself off.. not just doing it! it makes it a lot easier, and its 'better' for your body.

Good luck! My fiance was a pack a day smoker when we met. He's been smoke free for a year after he read this book by Allen Carr called The Easy Way to Stop Smoking.

I know I sound like an infomercial, but this book seriously changed his life. He's not a big reader, but it kept his attention, and after he read it, *poof* quit like that. He still had cravings here and there but was better able to handle them.

October 13th was his one year smoke-free anniversary.

Good luck!!! I quit 3 years ago after smoking for 10 yrs. You can do it!! Make sure you don't replace cigs with food like I did lol suc k on ice or a straw when you have cravings

I second that book... I quit like 'poof' for 10 months... and then fell off the wagon after a fight with FH.
