I have a pretty bad sickness (that i rather not go into) that i was diagnosed with last weekend after being in the ER. I have been sitting home the past 7 days miserable and i just about had it tonight and started hysterically crying. I missed both mine and DH christmas parties this week and now tonight i missed the xmas party with all my old time friends meet up. I look forward to it all year.
I would be happier if i knew i would be better by xmas, but i am going back to the doctor on Tuesday and i am not feeling better and I keep crying. I just wish i felt better...
Sorry i just needed to vent.

Thanks everyone, i really appreciate you thoughts and hugs. I can totally understand how sickness or disability can make a person fall into depression. Not that i am anywhere near that but over the past week i have had some pretty low lows.....hopefully i will be able to attend christmas eve and christmas day festivities with family and friends.

I'm so sorry to hear about this.....hopefully the doctors can figure everything out and you'll be your old self again!!! Keep a positive attitude because that works wonders for the soul.....
any way that your friends/family can bring Christmas to you???

Hang in there! I like to think at bad times, it can get any worse, so it can always get better.
I've been through some serious health problems myself and I know after you hear something bad, its hard to think past the next hour , or want to do ANYTHING but think about whats wrong with you...If it helps any, it got better...and Dr.'s are wonderful people who do wonderful things...so my prayers are with you...but try and enjoy your holidays...those moments are what life is about ....
