My dad was having pains last night in his limbs, back, and chest... today my mom called his dr and now he's in Good Sam getting some tests... my mom sounds pretty calm (shes usually NOT) so I dont know if I should be freaking out or not... I'm at work now b/c my mom told me its no big deal and not to go down to the ER... Its just hard to sit here and wait for news...
My dad does this thing where he 'rations' his BP medication and only takes it every few days! They think maybe its 'just' angina? I dont even know what t his all means!

angina is basically non problometic but painful chest pain.......I hope hes ok

I'm sorry you are going through this. The good thing is he is getting checked out so if its something going on with his heart they will find out through blood tests and EKG
Here is some information on Angina so you know what it meansClick here
This is common in older men and people with blood pressure issues. It can singnal that some vessels are starting to get blocked. Most likely as lond as his preliminary blood work and tests come back ok they will send him home to follow up with a cardiologist and hae a stress test and possible electie cardiac catherization done. This is all pretty standard stuff and you shouldn't bee too worried!!
