My dad was having pains last night in his limbs, back, and chest... today my mom called his dr and now he's in Good Sam getting some tests... my mom sounds pretty calm (shes usually NOT) so I dont know if I should be freaking out or not... I'm at work now b/c my mom told me its no big deal and not to go down to the ER... Its just hard to sit here and wait for news...
My dad does this thing where he 'rations' his BP medication and only takes it every few days! They think maybe its 'just' angina? I dont even know what t his all means!

I'm glad to hear he's ok. Why don't you scare him and say that you read on the internet that if you don't take your meds every day, you might end up in the hospital from time to time..maybe that will scare him into taking it every day? He might prefer the doctor over the hospital!

i'm sorry i haven't been on to see this. i'm glad he went to the hospital and that it's nothing too serious. FH's dad just had the same thing. He'll be fine. I'm here if you need to talk

Sorry to hear you are going through this. I am glad to hear that it wasn't a heart attack and that they were able to figure out what was causing the pains. for you, him and your family. I am constantly on my dad's case about his meds and being healthy. And when he tells me I am getting annoying I send my 3 year old niece in to do the dirty work. hold grandkids over his head -- you would be surprised how much it help!
