im seriously confused

I don't feel she is too young. she is your niece and you really want her in your wedding party. she is gorgeous!!

I really really wanted my neice to be in my wedding party (16 months old at time of the wedding). I had a dress picked out and everything. It was supposed to boil down to whether or not she was walking at the time of the wedding. Well, she started walking 8-10 weeks before the wedding, and I was very excited. Then my MOH/sister said no the day we were going to buy the dress. My sister decided that she was too young, wouldn't sit still, might not sit with her father etc etc.

If you don't care that she might cry, run around, have to be taken out by a parent (or someone else, who will then miss the rest of your ceremony) etc, then talk to her parents and see how they feel about it.

My nephew will be 1 yr and 9 months, he will be our ring bearer. I think my SIL, my MOH, his mommy will be escorting him. i really want him to be a apart of it, i just don't want him to be afraid of the long scary aisle!!! We don't have a flower girl! I think your niece will be fine, she just might need someone to coax her down the aisle. Everyone will love her! She'll look so adorable!

definitely have her as your FG!!! I've seen some very young flowergirls- some that weren't even walking yet.......your niece is adorable!! Go for it!!!

thanks girls so much!! you all helped me make my decision. im going to have her walk down the aisle with her parents and have her nanny take her.. if she fuses, the nanny can take her out of the ceremony and then we'll have pictures taken right after that with her. im using Something In Blue so i'm gonna make sure that we have her with me when im getting ready because those are gonna be important pictures. seeing her in her dress, and all of those cute moments. ohh i love her so much!

my niece will be just turning 2. and she is our FG. I dont care if she screams down the aisle, she will be cute no matter what!

my friend's niece was one and a half, and went down the aisle by herself, smiling the whole way down. so you never know!
