I'm SO angry and upset right now!!!!

So I got this awesome fellowhip for the summer and I was so excited. Right before I was about to start, I got a call from my would be boss, and they lost funding for the program in NY this summer, but they'd love to have me on as an intern. I was really disappointed, and right about then I got called from an old friend (and ex) of mine, who works at an off broadway theatre group, that they're looking to fill an office job there. Figuring all things were equal, office job, vs,. office job, I'd take the job at the theatre, because I already had a relationship with the other people, and now I could meet more people in showbiz, which is what I want to do. So I tell the internship guy, 'Thank you, but no'... I also quit my part time evening job for this theatre position. Now, I got back from vacation, ready to start at the theatre tomorrow when I get an IM from the old friend who got me the job and he's like 'you definitely don't want to work for (theatre company), trust me', so I call him and I'm like 'Are you TRYING to screw me over?' and he siad he'd call me back and I was like 'well, tell me, b/c maybe I can call and find out if they haven;t filled the internship yet', and he's like 'DO IT. I'll call you back.'

Anyway, he seemed pretty serious about me not working there and I don't know why. And I had a pretty bad feeling about this from the beginning, I should never have trusted this guy. Anyway, I gave up a great summer job for this one, and now I have NO job. I'm SO upset now.

I did email the internship guy, but I'm sure its been filled, plus, I already said no...so...


*sigh* I just had to vent. I'm worried this guy (my ex/friend) did this to me on purpose, just to **** me over. I don't know...I'm fristrated right now.
