I'm SO DUMB!! :o(

I can't believe it, I DELETED my excel spreadsheet that has EVERYTHING ON IT!!! My Checklist with notes, my contact list, EVERYTHING! I'm so UPSET!!

Does anyone know if there is a way to search my hard drive for a 'hidden' file, if that even exists???

Thanks Jenn, no it's not in my recycle bin, I'm anal and need my recycle bin CLEAR at all times... I'm so upset... And I deleted it at work too... what the heck is wrong with me

Thanks! My heart just stopped!!! I did a search for a to do list on my hard drive, a few spreadsheets came up and of course NOT the one I need! I thought I had it!

if it is not in your waste basket/recicle you might try to do a search with the search engine. Sorry that it happened!

I've tried everything... I thought I emailed it to my FH, but he says it's not on his computer

When I email from work, I delete it from my sent mail (I'm a little paranoid). I guess I didn't realize I needed it and just deleted it from my work and home hard drive!

I'm just glad I was able to vent! I knew you ladies would understand how much this S*CKS!!

don't feel bad - i too deleted my guest list with addresses and everything...luckily i had a hard copy of the names but its back to square one on the addresses, contact names, etc.....

i know exactly how you feel.....and i too of course am anal about my recycling bin so i delete it too!

There is a undelete command in dos.. if you didnt recover it let me know and ill have frank email you the directions. he said it might not be there but its worth the try..

If you have a PC, try to look through the 'history.' You can do this by accessing your hard drive usually listed under 'My Computer.'
If you have a MS windows program, call the number on the CD case & ask them if your system has any type of automatic backup program. Good Luck!

if you sent it to FH from your home computer...look in your sent folder...
