Congratulations!!! I'm fairly new myself (got engaged in July)....but I can say you came to the right place....it's like being connected to brides 24/7!!! Everyone is soooo helpful!!

Proposal: We were on vacation in the Carolinas and decided to go for a walk on the beach. It was a perfect evening, just us on an abandoned beach with the stars and the sound of the waves crashing. We walked for a while talking, etc. and then came upon a picnic blanket (that he had previously set up) and Jim got down on one knee and asked me. Yay! We celebrated with champagne and lots of hysterics by myself!
