I'm so nervous!!! UPDATED AGAIN!

So in about an hour we're going to hear from the owners of an apt to see if they want to rent to us! FH told them yesterday that he wanted to give em the deposit, but the whole process was held off until tonight til they make a decision... I wonder what they are considering...

Ugh.... this is too stressful... we're tired of looking!

Keep your fingers and toes crossed for us!!!

UPDATE: So we're like 99% good to go.... They just want to meet me tomorrow... So I have to go make a good impression

UPDATE #2: So we got the apartment! We get there only to find out that their block lost power... so i ended up seeing the apt in the dark with flashlights LOL so it made for a nice ice breaker haha

Power finally went back on as we were about to leave so I got to check the place out and imo, it was small, but FH likes it and hes the one who's gonna be paying for a great deal of it so i cant really complain... Its a cute place... i cant wait to start moving stuff in... they said we could do that right away which is awesome!

did they take any of your info?

even when you rent they'll still do a credit check and income check many times...i know they did this to my friend, when she rented she had to wait for an answer and she wondered why but it was so they can do a check on them

FH saw the apt without me so I didnt even think to ask him if they took down any info. They seemed to want to take the deposit yesterday(according to FH), but i'm not exactly sure why all that didnt happen.

ask your FH then if they took down any personal info. Many people do a check now before renting out to a couple...although if they were willing to take it so fast not sure if that is the case but you never know.
