Went 3 times and weighed my Invite they said 60 cents. This week we went back and they said 83 cents.. SO now I had to purchase 23 more cents of an ugly stamp. The best part was I mailed myself an invite with 60 cents and guess what I just received it in the mail.

ugh, bill from inkspun just told me that he has not received my placecard and menu cardstocks that i sent for him to print on. it was supposed to arrive last thursday, and they never came

I am so sorry to hear that. I did the same as you, went and test weighed one envelope and bought the appropriate stamps for all of my invites. Well my mom took all the invites to the post office and they said they needed more stamps, but the post office employee was really nice and said that it was ok, and just let them go through. He hand cancelled them too. I think the machines are just callibrated differently at some places. The postal worker said just about the same himself.

That *****. They told me the same thing. Those 83 cent stamps are very ugly, so the post office used this other kind that prints out.

yup, he's back now... the cardstocks should've been there by now...
Ugh.. Let me know how the place cards come out.. I'm also planning on using them..

You know I just discovered the same issue. I sent my invites all 80 and they were $1.57, then when I went the other day to mail a guest we just added they charged me $1.23. So now I know I just went to the wrong post office and could have spent a lot less on mailing the invtations.
