You have plenty of time. Why are you doing so much now for your wedding.
It's so annoying!!!!!!
Don't they realize how fast time goes, and why should I wait for the last minute to do everything. Ughhhhh....It just kills me!!!!!!!!!!!

The major thing is that you get the vendors you want when you plan early. We haven't had one disappointing moment when someone or something was booked on our day. Our place, photographer, band, hair and makeup, officiant....everyone and everywhere was available when we planned a year and a half in advance!

I feel the same way!!! I have off for the summer, so why wouldn't I plan. My FH says everyday, it's a year away, and it's just one day! He keeps annoying me about planning early too.
Why do people care when you book your photographer????

I know some people have said...So Im sure you haven't looked at dresses yet...ANd I reply yes actually ..its already ordered!
My FI and I are both teachers and booked things when we had time..which was during Christmas and February breaks...Yes it was early but I would hate to be scrambling to book things

You know what I've been engaged since Jan 2003. I started doing my planning then, and I'm so damn glad I did! Because I didn't know jack about the industry and now that I'm now making final dissions I'm glad I have the knowledge I know now. Everyone kept telling me I have plenty of time, that its a long way, but guess what I choose NOT to hurry anything! I had for the longest times nightmares of my wedding day. That the day came and we didn't even have invitations picked out! Guys its never to early to plan.

Oh my gosh me too!!! I feel like I have to defend myself when I tell them why I am doing everything so early, maybe because I have other things that are important to me besides this wedding and I don't want to be a stress bucket a few months before the wedding!!!

Yes exactly, I want to try to take it easy instead of rushing around. As it is we have to run around a month before for last minute details and payments. UGHHH...
