I'm sooo sad

We were planning on doing the dove release but since our weddding ceremony ends at 8:30pm, they need 1 hour to fly back hom and they can't see in the dark.....I'm soooo sad

Sorry to hear that but that is 1 minor detail Im sure the rest of your wedding will be beautiful. As much as you wanted this maybe it happened so you can try something different maybe Fireworks?

yeah i'd be worried about the little doves hitting something in the dark.

it's okay....no one will walk away from the wedding saying 'that was a good wedding, but it would have been soooo much better if doves had been released!'

your day will still be fabulous!

yes, I didin't know that they were trained birds that fly back home after they've been released. I really did want birds....I'm going to try the butterfly release and see how that works.

Oh don't be sad! I agree witht he other gals..it's a tiny thing!

I don't know if butterflies would work either..you don't see butterflies flying at night..Probably wouldn't be good for them

LOL - you guys are too funny. I must say the thought of seeing doves flying into things is funny, but I really want to do something different, so hopefully I can fiture out what's up with butterflies....maybe they'll die with the NYC pollution.
