I'm worried - need thoughts and prayers (a little long, sorry)
In the past 3 weeks, I've had 3 people close to me in and out of the hospital...
My parents' best friend is still in ICU in Stony Brook. He had some sort of pancreatic attack, and he's not doing well. The doctors told his wife yesterday that the morbidity chance is high...
My FMIL was rushed to the emergency room 2 weeks ago after collapsing in a seizure in the grocery store parking lot. She's home now, but along with a host of other serious medical issues, she now has ventricular tacchycardia. She's seeing a specialist, but no firm treatment has been decided yet, though there is talk of a pacemaker...
And most worrysome is my FH's grandmother. She was hospitalized last weekend after falling in her apartment. She's okay from the fall, but not at all okay. She's stopped eating, her arthritic hands don't work at all anymore, she is weak, confused and feeling as though everyone is against her. a few months ago, her only issue was her feet, which prevented her from walking properly, since all the bones continually shifted. My FMIL bought a scooter for her to use and we were doing well...but in the last month, she's gone downhill RAPIDLY and we're very worried. FH said he was having dreams a few months ago of his family 'Falling Apart' and he fears now they are coming true...
I am close with them all and all of this is taking its toll on me, my FH and his family and my family...Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers..![]()
