Impromptu m/u trial

hi ladies

on Thursday I just happened to be browsing the makeup counter at the Bloomingdales in Soho. I happened by the Lancome counter and inquired about bridal makeup, and they directed me to a woman at the Smashbox counter next door, who said she did bridal makeup and offered to give me a trial.

WELL, I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome, and also by how light the makeup felt. I have never had my makeup done professionally, and don't wear it much at all. so heaviness on my face was a big concern.

I have pics but they are not the greatest since it was after spending 45 minutes in humid NYC and on the subway. (didn't have a camera with me)

also, the final product had my eyes much more dramatic, but i asked her to tone it down for my trip home.

her rates are VERY reasonable, and she is very sweet and pleasant. please fm for more info.

I actually have some smashbox cosmetics - I think they were ordered off of HSN or QVC or one of those. I love them! Great colors.

the gal i went to used smashbox too... it's perfect for picture taking~

LOL- that's Nic, but I actually think that was sweat!!!! it was SOOO humid- but the best thing is, it didn't wear off!

Thanks ladies....

the colors she used really made my eyes pop- I just wish I had a camera in the store with me.

I have a pretty clear complexion, but it's kind of paste-y and wane at times ( I am very pale with fairly dark hair)

Leese, you are right about the photos- they have this product she used on my called Photo Finish- just used by itself I think it's worth it's weight in gold- I definitely would buy it.

I really think I will book her, especially considering her prices. they are great! I will have one or two other trials though- especially since I have a free one from Clinique!
