in 11 days.....

FH and I will be homeowners! I just scheduled our closing!! All parties have agreed Tuesday, October 6 at 9:30 am.

We won't be taking possession until the 9th or 10th, but it will be OURS. I can't wait. I wanted to close on Monday the 5th, but my boss has a golf outing and would rather play golf than do my closing for some reason!

FH and I are going furniture shopping tomorrow to look for stuff for our new den.

I'm so excited! Just about 8 weeks from contract signing to closing - gotta love it!

Ours went much quicker than we anticipated, but it was really easy deal. Now all I need to do is shop for homeowners insurance.

DH actually just called up state farm bc he has his car insurance through them... the more diff types of insurance you have through 1 company, the more of a discount they give you... and get this... they also said we get more of a discount now for being married! that boggled my mind but i'll take it!
