In a half hour...UPDATE

I'm calling Bridal Reflections to give them a piece of my mind and demand that they put a rush on my alterations...if this week is any indication of how I'm going to be until my next fitting, it needs to happen sooner!!! I'm just going to ask them to tell me candidly whether or not they can fix it because I'm now 57 days away from my wedding and if I need a new dress I need to figure that out NOW.

UPDATE: I posted this in the ILANA! thread but I figured I'd post here too lol

OKAY...so. I called and she was basically insisting that they could only move it up one week, but that they wouldn't have the gussets in, it would only be taken out. I told her I was in an impossible situation because I'm getting married in less than 2 months and if I need a new dress, I need to know ASAP....that I didn't understand why it should take 2 more weeks just to let a dress out. She went back to the alterations department and now I have an appointment for next Friday!!! It will be let out and they will pin in the gussets so I can get a better idea of what it will look like.

Honestly...I am not hopeful. The way she was saying they put the gussets in is under the armpit so that it can't be seen...but the place where it needs to be let out the most is my hips, and obviously everyone can see those...I just don't think its gonna end well.

That being said, I moved my appointment with Kleinfeld to May 29th lol...so hopefully by Memorial Day I can be celebrating and happy and sure that I have a dress that fits and looks beautiful and is everything I wanted.
