My body is back in CA, but my head is stuck in NY. I'm so frustrated. I got nothing finalized while I was in NY. My time was cut short too because I was also in FL visiting my Dad who has been sick. It's been very hard to get things going between that and the fact that I'm bi-coastal.
Next month hopefully will be better. I'm definitely booking photography/video and hopefully music. I would appreciate music suggestions, DJ's VS. Bands, who to go to, etc... I did get some input on this, but would like some more. Also, I'm going to order my dress.
Thanx!!!!!

Re: 'In A New York State of Mind'
We're using Jovon Photography- I just posted my e-pics yesterday so you can see their work. We're using them for video too. And we are using the band Dwight Howard- you can hear them at their website www.dwighthowardmusic.com. Where in CA do you live? I am going there in 2 weeks for work!

I'm using Cassarino Studios for my photography. I know several people who used them, and I loved their shots. I'm having an Italian/American band, so I don't think your interested, however, Dwight Howard band are EXCELLENT! My cousin had them for his wedding last year at the Carltun. The dance floor was never empty, the singers are fantastic and the band is huge (I don't know if it was their choice of having such a large band), but in any case I would definitely check them out. Good luck.

I looked at Jovon. Their work is beautiful, but they were a lot of $$$. I'm going to use Artisan Photography & Media Group. Their work is on the same level as Jovon, but much more affordable.
I've heard of Dwight Howard. How are their prices?
I live in the Bay area.
Thanx for your input

Hi there- I will be in LA- so no where near where you live! I've never been up to SF- that is the Bay area right? lol . Dwight Howard's prices- I think they depend on what size band you have- I think 8 pieces was about $6500 but that included ceremony and cocktail hr too. I know it sounds pricey but they are totally worth it!

A co-worker of my FH used Cassarino. They were happy in the end, but had a little stress during the process. Make sure you know who your Photographer is.
