In case you didnt already think I was crazy...

Oh I am so very sad! I HATE spiders, but there is this one spider who has lived in the corner of my boiler room for over a year. I see her every time I do laundry. I've named her Charlotte (super creative on my part) and I've been keeping an eye on her (aka not killing her) since last spring. Last week I noticed that Charlotte was making her web extra big, and she had some little pods on it... well today I just went in to do my laundry, and poor Charlotte is all shriveled up and dead, but there are baby spiders on the web! I'm grossed out, but also unnaturally sad about the death of Charlotte

that is sad...and crazy that charolette never left your basement

Aww, I give you credit for letting her live for so long. I've had the same thing and I'm just as original as you...I named her Charlotte too. Charlotte lived for quite awhile and then I don't know what happened to her...ha. I'll try and leave them alone for a bit, and like you, keep an eye on them. But, in general, when they venture into my bedroom, I'm sorry, they're gone!

I'm deathly afraid of spiders, so that wouldn't work. Unless they feel like crabs... then I'll be ok with it.

its ok, our fish Taj (a beta fish) died yesterday - when FH and i got home he was dead i actually cried over it - i was sad, we had him for 1 year a 2 months and that is a long time for a fishie - we kept joking that if he made it to the wedding i would bring him to the hotel with me so i guess i was disappointed - i felt so bad for him and i was so emotional over it - we put him in a tiny box and buried him in the backyard - FH wanted to flush him and i said no way - so we had a little burial for the fishie - so i think i just might trump you in the crazy department
