iN HAWAII do we really need a car?

Girls who went do we really need one?

I am getting a car with the whole package, but do we really need it? I want to drink at dinner and go out at night and we don't want to drive, so we could get a taxi right? Other question for the excursions doesn't someone pick you up and drive you there? Or do we have to drive there?

I am staying in Oahu 2 nites
Kaui-4 nites
Maui- 6 nites

you are doing the same itinerary as me!!! we are getting a car in maui and kauai. my TA said we def need one. especially for the road to hana in maui. you want a car b/c then you can stop whenever you want and wherever you want as opposed to one of those tour company things.

we got a car for maui (6 nights) and the big i (6 nights) but not for oahu (2 nights). it worked out perfectly. i guess it depends on what u guys want to do there. we liked exploring on our own and having the freedom to come and go. honestly i def recommend getting a car!
