IN HONOR OF DEBMAHER: QOTD- If you could get back anything you lost in childhood, what would it be?

Original post by ckgmwedding

I am not trying to take Deb's place but I miss her QOTD. So although I doubt I could do as well, here is one.

My answer would be two things, one is tangible and the other is not.

1-My gold cross that I wore when I was Christened.

2-My relationship with my Uncle who I still miss.

I miss hanging out with my big brother he is 9 years older than me and he used to take me out late at night to go to the batting range or to get a late night snack after he dropped off his girlfriend-we were so close and I truly miss that. He moved out of state when he got married and now he has a wife and two kids and I miss having him all to myself (selfish I know-I cried like a baby when I found out he was getting married and the whole ceremony-I knew things would never be the same)

most of all i miss being carefree and innocent

1.) I wish I could've met my mother's parents.
2.) I wish I would have known my father's father better before he died.
