In memory of the grooms mother

So I've seen a lot of ways for the bride to honor someone who has passed, like having her fathers picture on her bouquet or wearing his picture in a locket the day of the wedding. Does anyone have any ideas for the groom?
FH's mother passed away last May, and I think it would be nice if he could have her with him while he's waiting at the alter.

Any ideas?!

TIA!

I wish I remember where I saw this, but I came across a pin with charms hanging from it. You can put pictures in the charms (kind of like a locket but it doesn't close so the pictures are always showing). He can pin it on the inside or outside of his jacket.

In memory of the grooms mother

I like the cufflinks idea, FH lost both of his parents so we are trying to find some way to honor them.
Ideas we have- Light a candle during mass and then have a candle and picture on our table after the first dance play a song for them and have the dj announce it and then invite everyone to dance the first dance.
Its such a touchy subject for FH I can't imagine how hard it is for him to not have his parents luckly he has to big sisters and my parents.

I love the cufflinks idea! I've seen the boutonniere pin on etsy as well. Either one would be perfect! Sorry for your loss.

FH lost his mother in January 12' so I understand where you are coming from. We are having a full mass and will honor her during our mass as well as include a nice poem in the program. We also will be having a memory candle lighting at the beginning of the reception with a beautiful song and pictures playing on the LCD screens during the process of the memory candle lighting. HTH

In memory of the grooms mother

What about using a piece of an item of her clothing or a handkerchief of hers as a pocket square for his tux? Or sewing/pinning it over his heart inside of his tux?

In memory of the grooms mother

I'm doing bouquet charms and I may make FH one of his mother for his bout as well or he can pin it inside his coat near his heart. I would love if I could get a handkerchief of hers. That would be so special.

all these ideas are wonderful...My mom passed, as well as my husbands dad...we had roses placed at their seats in the church, right where they would have been sitting... :)
