I have booked the RH and made an appointment with the church! YAY! Im an OOT bride so I am trying to get as much done while Im in NY!
Am I getting too much done too soon in my engagement?

I don't think so. You are organized! It's a good thing!!
I don't have ANYTHING booked yet and have been engaged for a while. We are waiting until my FH comes back into NY to visit at the end of June. My worry is that everything will be booked for the date of our wedding and we will be out of luck!
So be confident that you have it all under control (but give yourself some time to relax too)!!

Congrats! It's never too soon to start booking! Especially for 2010 now, a lot of vendors are booking up quickly.

Congrats! Def not too soon. I felt like if i did all my major vendors too early on I would have nothing to 'look forward to' planning wise.. believe me t here are so many things you dont account for in the planning process/timeline that you will be glad to have done whatever you can get done as early on as you can get it done! There will be plenty more to do and enjoy in the planning process!

I think you are fine, people just like to give there oppinion. I did nothing at first and it took me forever to book bc I had no idea what I wanted and people were freaking out that I didnt have things booked asap. Just do what makes you happy and what is right for you

Congrats! Nope - you are definitely not doing things too soon! FH and I had our church and RH booked about 2 weeks after we got engaged...and there was still about a yr and a half to the wedding at that time...
