In need of hugs

I know I have mentioned before that my relationship with my Mom hasn't been so great lately and that she hasn't shown ANY interest in our wedding. Today her &I had another blow out. Without getting into too much detail, I keep getting hurt by someone who is suppose to love you unconditionally. I am giving up on trying to appease my mother and god does it hurt. I will NEVER treat my daughter this way EVER. It just hurts so much

I'm so sorry you have to go through this right before your wedding.

You have all the sympathy in the world from me. Mom can be a real pain in the a$$ as well and just seems to have a general disinterest in me in general not just wedding-related things.

I don't know how parents can be this way but the sad thing is you KNOW we're not the only ones.

People are just a$$holes.

I am sorry you are going through this....I've been going through it too, well before the wedding, and the whole wedding planning thing seems to just magnify everything...........

I went back to counseling (had been to a therapist years ago) and it has really helped me deal with my anger, and disappointment when I expect my mother to be someone she is not....I'm so glad I have someone to help me through this that is NOT family or friend.....please FM me if you want info on the counseling center i go to....i think EVERYONE could use therapy to help deal with things when It feels overwhelming!
