Has anyone heard anything about In the Mix DJ. I received $250 off through the wedding pages web site and I am thinking about using them. If you have any info. that would be great.

I don't know anything about them but they called me to tell me I won 250$ certificate for entertainment from them from a bridal show I didn't even attend. I would do a search on the boards on them or you should try posting this on brides helping Brides board more people will read that post. Welcome to the boards - make sure you add your name to our 04 schedule post!

my cousin had in the mix at her wedding and they were great. If we were going to get a DJ it would defintely be them with out a doubt. they also have a women named paula that went into business with them she does invitations and favors etc. i'm using her for favors, invitations for engagement and wedding she is so sweet. you should take a look at both

I am using Albert Lee Music. he is not a big name , but he came highly recommended on this board and was recommended to me by a lot of poeple in the field of weddings. Sometimes big names are not the way to go and sometimes they are. Just do a lot of research on any vendor u use, it is all up to your own taste.

I received the same phone call!!! But, the girl I dealt with was so annoying - she's called me 6 times since then. She forced me into making an appt. and fi had an emergency meeting that day and we were unable to go and I completely spaced and forgot to call. Well the girl called the next day to yell at me for not calling her. Meanwhile I was profusely apologizing (because that's not like me to just not call) when trying to explain this to her - she was so NASTY and she kept getting worse. It really p*ssed me off. She was like we don't want to give away your $250 prize and I was like well do what you have to do. I was so enamored that she had the ballz to talk to me the way she did and then expect me to use their services!!! I've heard good things about them - but, after my experience with that lady - I would never go there. She was way tooo pushy.

I have heard good things about them BUT I had the same problem with them calling me-They emailed me a 100 times and called me so much on my cell phone I had to program their number into my phone so I could see identify it on the caller ID and ignore them! then delete the 10 voice mails they leave me!

Thanks for all your reponses. We actually did book them, they gave us a great price and I really liked the person we sat with, who will be our emcee. I just happy that people have heard that they do a good job.

I have the same problem with them. I guess I was special that I won the $250 coupon! LOL. More them than other vendors, but I have warned my friends who are getting engaged soon NOT to sign up for anything when they go to bridal showcases. I have started telling vendors that I already booked other people, because I cant take it anymore. I still get calls from Century 21 (or whatever the hell they call themselves). That is another place that will call you 100 times. Someone suggested at work that I tell these annoying callers that the wedding is off. I dont think they would ever call again! LOL
