In the Mix/Xtreme Sounds DJs

Anyone have any information on either of these DJ's, either as a guest or if you looked into them? They are two of the ones recommended by Swan Club. I met with Ultimate Sounds today, and they were great. Thanks!!!

Im a Swan Club bride also! I met with In the Mix and thought tthey were really great but ended up booking Ultimate Sound. We went to 2 of their showcases and thought they were great. We really like Raul and booked him for our MC.

I am in the Camelot Room...only place we would fit!!!! I am trying to keep it to 200 guests, which will be challenging since we have 300 on the invite list, so we will be doing an A and B list. Garden room is nice! I love that it has the private entrance and bathrooms! The colors are more my style in there, but we would never fit! Oh well!

LI Sound and Tommy Tunes were the first two I looked into because they were the house DJ's for the catering hall I worked for, but I need a Greek DJ and neither have one. Plus, if we use Swan Club vendors we get the room uplighting for free :)

Hello! I am a Swan Club bride Jan 2014 and we have booked Ultimate Sounds!! SO excited!! LOVE frankie and his team!! He have used In the Mixx for other events in the past as well. They are a great company as well with lots of talent. I would say meet with both and see who fits your style better! Good luck :)

Wow that is a huge guest list! lol We are expecting about 120 so we had the choice of the Contessa or Garden rooms but we loved the Garden room, esp because of the private entrance and bathroom. That def was a plus!

I think so, the cakes we tasted at the showcase were really good, but I don't love the look of them, but I heard on here that they have a new baker...

I also like that they offer red velvet, most places charge extra for that flavor!!!

I feel the exact same way. The cakes were really good, esp the red velvet. But I dont like the way they look either. They always seem to come out lopsided. I told my florist I want a lot of flowers on the cake to cover it up lol

A friend of FH works for a bakery and offered us a really good discount so we might go check it out and see how much it would be. But idk if I want to spend the extra cash since the cake is already included.

If you book any Swan Club DJ u get free uplighting??? I booked Ultimate Sound back in early 2012 and I rem Frank telling us something about them instaling uplighting in the rooms or something like that but I didnt know it would be free...??

That's what Stephanie told me, so I only looked into the house vendors. Both Ultimate and In the Mix said it would be free when I met with them last week, I am meeting with Xtreme this week but I'm sure they will say the same.

I was thinking flowers on the cake too...I saw pictures on pinterest of cakes using those column thingies, which I don't like, but they completely fill the area between the columns with flowers and it looks awesome...I know someone who does cakes and I was thinking the same thing, but I don't want to worry about transporting the cake....the less I have to worry about, the better!!!
