For all those brides who are considering getting a tattoo removed for their wedding...I am in the process of getting it removed. Two weeks ago I went to the doctor to get the procedure done...it's a new relatively new procedure and not many doctors do it yet...they basically poke holes in the tattoo with small needles and then spread a paste that chemically extracts the colors. The process took about 31/2 hours (the doctor wanted me to go when the paste was completely dried). The first few days were painful, but hopefully it was worth it. I now just have to wait for my top layer of skin to peel off and hopefully the tattoo will come off with it! Anyone interested in further info you can FM me!

It's not as gross as it sounds...it's like if you had a sunburn and your skin was peeling from it! Hey, it's better then knowing i have a tattoo showing while i'm in a wedding dress. I got it when i was younger and as I've gotten older I just decided i didn't want it anymore...you live and learn!

Re: In the process of getting tattoo removed...
how much was it? I have 2 tattoos on my back & had Jacquelyn Nicole cover them onmy wedding day.
the one thing I was so happy about is that I got my tattoo in a place where noone can see...
I have thought about removing it...but since its not visible...only if I win the lotto!!

I have 3 and all in places you cant see them. I think I'll be the only 75 year old woman with a winni the pooh and elmo tattoo on her hip

I have one where no one can see it, too (unless I wear a bikini, which I won't be doing anytime soon). I have thought about covering it with something different.

Re: In the process of getting tattoo removed...
I love mine. The only thing I regret a little is that I have one on each ankle. Oh Well. I have 2 sisters, all 3 of us got the same one.

I love my tattoos! I am just having my makeup artist cover the one on my shoulder for my wedding day.
