incorporating hobbies/personality into

Ok i wrote about this part in my Marina del rey review but ill write it out for whoever didnt see it. The groom plays the drums and at the wedding they had the whole percussion set up the one with the cymbals and all that...The groom played the drums to the song 'shook me all night long' by AC/DC...everyone at the wedding got out of their seats and crowded around him on the middle of the dance floor. His friends were going crazy jumping up and down singing and everyone was cheering. He did a great job too, and i thought it was such a nice personal touch.

Is anyone doing anything like that? I dont know what to do lol, bring in a pitcher to throw the ball at FH so he can hit it but seriously would like to hear if anyone is doing anything similar

i was thinkin of playin a piano for FH for the longest time..like i kno floral terrace has one..and I was thinkin of playin something for him...since (believe it or not) he has NEVER seen me play and we have been together this long.

but im not sure yet.

i was thinkin of playin a piano for FH for the longest time..like i kno floral terrace has one..and I was thinkin of playin something for him...since (believe it or not) he has NEVER seen me play and we have been together this long.

the only thing i can think of is FH might wear his Marine Corps Uniform for the ceremony but probably not the Reception.

Um I danced for 19 years so I might just have to pick up my dress and bust some moves or do a choregraphed dance with the girls I used to dance with haha JK

good idea to incorporate some personality or hobbies into a wedding just dont have any clue how i would do so

OMG Diane I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that idea, i definitely think you should do it, he will love it and so will your guests...Honestly we all have been to plenty of weddings or even if some ppl only been to a few, after a while its like Ok nice cp, ok nice favors or whatever, but the things that stand out at a wedding are moments like that and what set it apart from other weddings

i dont think we are doign anythign as of YET... we are talking about a special 'performance' durign the night....

however, my dad played the drums at my parents wedding also!!!!

awww did he, thats great your dad plays the drums.

hmmmmmmm this is a good one ....ummmmmm....... the only thing is that we are incorporating vermont into our wedding...i guess you can say its our hobby because we go there any chance we get. even to get soap is that a hobby hahahahahhahaah sorry i dont have a great answer for this hahahhaa

diane can i come to your wedding...??

i'll pay for myself i just want to see what you have up your sleeve it all sounds so amazing and unique. i would LOVE to know your centerpieces since you are DIYing them!

the more i think about it...the more i think i want to do it!!! i know what i would play...and i think it would make for good video too!!

good post denise..bc seriously..I NEVER would have thought of this..but im def gonna now! this is a secret however...i dont want FH to know!

we love lex so much, he is the center of our world, so i think when a weimy related item pops up it will be very us (so far his silouette may be the table numbers)

awww cant wait to hear all about it, see this is what ive been concentrating the most on, the personal touches and surprises. I mean flowers, menu's, place cards are nice and all dont get me wrong but i need something good and more importantly personal for me and FH

FH can dance, but he'll be doing that alot that night regardless, and i know ppl will make him get in the middle of a circle to dance so it wont make a difference. We might have to throw a couple of balls around outside lol

oh by the way i did the 'Q-tip' when i entered at my brothers..

and if you never saw Hitch...then you have no idea what the Qtip is. hahah
