Ok i wrote about this part in my Marina del rey review but ill write it out for whoever didnt see it. The groom plays the drums and at the wedding they had the whole percussion set up the one with the cymbals and all that...The groom played the drums to the song 'shook me all night long' by AC/DC...everyone at the wedding got out of their seats and crowded around him on the middle of the dance floor. His friends were going crazy jumping up and down singing and everyone was cheering. He did a great job too, and i thought it was such a nice personal touch.
Is anyone doing anything like that? I dont know what to do lol, bring in a pitcher to throw the ball at FH so he can hit it but seriously would like to hear if anyone is doing anything similar

hmmmmmmm this is a good one ....ummmmmm....... the only thing is that we are incorporating vermont into our wedding...i guess you can say its our hobby because we go there any chance we get. even to get soap is that a hobby hahahahahhahaah sorry i dont have a great answer for this hahahhaa
yeah it is a hobby i think lol...i know i cant think of something that we can do either. What am i gonna do make FH run to show how fast he is lol

OMG Diane I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that idea, i definitely think you should do it, he will love it and so will your guests...Honestly we all have been to plenty of weddings or even if some ppl only been to a few, after a while its like Ok nice cp, ok nice favors or whatever, but the things that stand out at a wedding are moments like that and what set it apart from other weddings
diane already has a bunch of stuff like that!!! this will definitely add to it though!
the more i think about it...the more i think i want to do it!!! i know what i would play...and i think it would make for good video too!!

FH can dance, but he'll be doing that alot that night regardless, and i know ppl will make him get in the middle of a circle to dance so it wont make a difference. We might have to throw a couple of balls around outside lol
well u are a good dancer too no? so why not do something unique..like a special cool dance just u 2??
oh by the way i did the 'Q-tip' when i entered at my brothers..
and if you never saw Hitch...then you have no idea what the Qtip is. hahah
YEAH i told FH lets do a cool first dance, like cha cha, salsa, tango or whatever but he said he'd rather do it later on not for the first dance bc he just wants to go with the flow and the emotions, rather than focusing on steps. But some couples do a 2nd dance later so HMMMM i might do it after all lol

we dont really have hobbies that fit that kind of thing- he's big into paintball and biking and i am big into reality tv and cooking...
but i have to tell you guys about this wedding that I went to two years ago--
the bride was a huge hanson fan- i mean she was a total roadie- she went to like 10 concerts a year and this was well after they were famous & died off
so anyway- her husband and the groomsman dressed up like hanson and performed for her- it was hysterical...

omg, did you guys see the british couple doing the dirty dancing scene on you tube!! it was great! there is another bridal party that did thriller...LOL.
I am sure we will incorporate something with prison ( lol, who knew I would ever say that for my wedding)...like come out to jailhouse rock or something since we both work in a jail....

The only thing so far that we are doing is when we come in we are coming into the Rocky theme song and FH is obsessed with Rocky and Stallone. We might come out with boxing gloves. I am still deciding on that part though...haha
