Ok i wrote about this part in my Marina del rey review but ill write it out for whoever didnt see it. The groom plays the drums and at the wedding they had the whole percussion set up the one with the cymbals and all that...The groom played the drums to the song 'shook me all night long' by AC/DC...everyone at the wedding got out of their seats and crowded around him on the middle of the dance floor. His friends were going crazy jumping up and down singing and everyone was cheering. He did a great job too, and i thought it was such a nice personal touch.
Is anyone doing anything like that? I dont know what to do lol, bring in a pitcher to throw the ball at FH so he can hit it but seriously would like to hear if anyone is doing anything similar

omg, did you guys see the british couple doing the dirty dancing scene on you tube!! it was great! there is another bridal party that did thriller...LOL.
I am sure we will imcorporate something with prison ( lol, wo knew I would ever say that for my wedding)...like come out to jailhouse rock or something since we both work in a jail....

FH and I love 'real' (pretentious huh) NY hip hop and live music so a lot of the song's we're using for like the first dance, announcement etc. are hip hop....but tastefully done for the context of a wedding. For the live music we're having a jazz trio for the ceremony music. FH and I are changing into Chuck Taylors during the reception (Him tan, me baby blue) ...trying to figure out if I should do it before or after the whole garter business.
I have one secret thing i'm still debating on doing as a secret for FH....well see

The only thing so far that we are doing is when we come in we are coming into the Rocky theme song and FH is obsessed with Rocky and Stallone. We might come out with boxing gloves. I am still deciding on that part though...haha
my bro did that when he was a groomsman...it was great! my cousin came out in a cowboy hat and his wife had a lasso and the song was save a horse and ride a cowboy!!!

i've been thinking about this too..Mostly everything is us.. but i wanted to do something that really incorporated our personalities into the day besides just our favorite flavor of cake and colors we like..lol.. so i'm still thinking at this point..good thing we have time.. lol

yeah see im using other things, such as instead of Fh and I running our bp's arms, were gonna have them hold up baseball bats and im gonna incorporate baseball in other ways, but i want something interactive lol

Well, FH is a great dancer and he will have a special greek song and dance 'zebeikiko' (sp?) the drunken sailors dance..usually the crowd goes WOW for him..so im lookin fwd for that. :)

He said no, cuz only a couple of our friends watch friends and would actually get it.. But I think its funny for US.... FH and his guys ARE doing the apache dance from Fresh Prince (the one Will and Carlton do in an episode)
