You may also be able to get the Riviera in Massapequa (on the water) for an afternoon for under $70pp. At the end of 1999, they were asking around $65pp for a Sat. afternoon in 2000. Hi..I am getting married in April 2002. I am in the same situation u are in as far as finding wedding halls where it is under $75 a person. All the places that I have found that I really liked are very expensive. But like someone else mentioned I Leonards is about $55-60 a person. I also looked at Verdi's of Westbury this weekend..it is a very nice hall..and very spacious and for a Sunday afternoon wedding they quoted me a price of $55 a person not including tax an gratuity. So we are likely going to book our wedding there. Its frustrating but don't forget there are some of us in the same boat. Good Luck,

Marie,
If you stay flexible with the date and time of day, you should be able to find many places in your budget.
