Inexpensive Programs

Inexpensive Programs

I was toying with the idea of doing programs.

Honestly...

On one hand, I think they're a waste.

On the other hand, I think they can be a cute personal touch if done right.

But since I'm so torn I've decided I will only do it if I can do it inexpensively. Like pay for it without even touching my savings account lol.

Any ideas?

and fyi My invitations are black and white damask.
and my colors are ivory burgandy and black.

Re: Inexpensive Programs

We are finishing up the content for ours but we should have a proof by sometime this week and I will post it. We contracted the programs into the price from the place we used to get our invitations. They are doing them DIY for us...as in they are not using a brand of paper. I will also follow up with what they charged us...have to peak at the invoice. They're going to be 6 inch squares with one insert (4 sides) and tied with a ribbon. They showed us a bunch of examples and they are exactly what you said...a very sweet, meaningful personal tough.

I actually think its a great momento in that for us, because we're getting married in a church, all of our selected readings and songs will be captured as well as our bridal party, our thank you to our parents, etc. I think it really captures the most important details of the day...

I don't DIY anything.

I have no time, patience, or interest.

I'd rather pay someone else to do it. lol

I'm pretty sure Vista print has programs and you can always google a code for $$ off or free shipping. I actually have a free shipping one if you spend $1.

If you need the link let me know

I made my own... I know you say you don't do DIY, but it was seriously the easiest thing in the entire world. I just made a very simple template on microsoft word for two pages and printed them on colored resume paper and folded them in half.

Really the only person who insisted on programs was my MOH. I think she wanted the recognition.

On the front, I just printed our names. The inside left was the poem my brother read during the ceremony (it was good because people could follow along). The inside right was the list of 'important people' like the wedding party and parents. The back side had our memorial section (just a list of names and said 'with us in spirit, always in our hearts') and said 'thank you for coming' to our guests.
