I got in touch with CLM and this is what they said regarding the renovations: They are only redecorating with new carpeting, new dance floors and a paint job -- nothing 'too structural'. (I only asked about the Atrium room). They assured me that they will have everything completed by my wedding date in September. Also, they are still using Black Forest bakery -- it was just a rumor that they went with someone else. By the way, the Atrium room's dance floor is 25' by 26' in case you want to choreograph something. Hope that helps :)

Debi was at CLM today; Said the new carpet was in the upstairs room/hers. Looks beautiful!!! The ceiling will be heightened, but according to the owners construction will not be going on at the same time as Debi's wedding!!!!! The walls will be painted a soft creamy yellow, but not until after Deb's wedding. Mary MOB

that was the one thing FH didn't like about the place! but Lou assured us that the dance floor is treated on a regular basis -- they just take a beating from all the dancing. I guess they can't put too much wax on them or people would bust their behinds.
I told FH not to worry -- I'm sure I won't even notice them that day.
yea i agree..i dont think i will even notice the day of because first of all its going to be dark by the time we are all in that room anyways!!

the only thing people remember about weddings is the music and food
well we already know that CLM food is amazing..so ifyou have good music..you will have a good wedding..stop stressing ladies..we chose CLM for a reason..they will not let anything go wrong on your wedding day..especially construction

When we were there in September, we were told the upstairs room was being re-done. I am totally confused. I am going to call tomorrow and hopefully get some answers. I mean my wedding is over a year away, but I would like to know their time frame & what they are doing.
