oh wow, i had no idea. i've been with them for a year. thanks for the info. HSBC also has online savings for 4.25%. the only thing is you get an atm card and is easy access to your money.

I have ING and it is the best. I automatically have an allotment of funds transfer from my checking account to ING and I do not touch it. The interest is great.

It's an online savings account - no fees, no minimums, and a great interest rate, but no atm access. It's linked to your checking account at whatever bank you have one, and you transfer money into it, and out when you need it. They have a great referral program - if you use a referral link from an existing customer, you get a $25 bonus and the existing customer gets $10 (but I think you're required to open the account with $250 and keep it in there for some minimum number of days to get the bonus). FM me if you're interested - I can email you a link. Those of us who have them should really take advantage of this referral program - help save for our weddings :)
